‍“The concept of LUCKY DOG was actually conceived all the way back in 2014 when our family relocated from Denmark to China.

‍

‍After bringing our Labrador, Indy, with us to China, my wife and I faced a significant challenge: Where could we accommodate our dog when traveling? Upon seeking recommendations from friends and neighbours, we discovered that they were grappling with the same dilemma.

‍

‍As a devoted animal lover with a profound passion for dogs, I made the decision to leave my 20+ year career in Media Production and started studying to become a Dog Behaviorist. At the same time, in 2015, I initiated LUCKY DOG Home Boarding, opening our doors to numerous fur kids, benefitting from my growing knowledge in dog behaviour og psychology. Since then, I have hosted more than 1200 doggie nights and cherished the opportunity to get to know each dog and their unique personalities, together with their lovely owners.

‍In conversations with many of my clients, they often expressed their confusion and frustration regarding available dog products and food. They frequently struggled to make informed purchases and were often disappointed by the quality. As a result, they started seeking my advice, which I was pleased to offer, drawing from my year-long experience and my studies of dogs.

‍Today, after 11 years in Asia and well returned to my home base in Denmark, I am prepared to expand the LUCKY DOG community worldwide and provide more dog parents with convenient access to carefully handcrafted products. These products have been designed and developed based on my years of experience with dogs. They will both directly and indirectly enhance the quality of dogs' lives, making them safer, happier, and more stylish.

‍My wife and I are proud pet parents to two dogs of our own: Indy, our 13-year-old male Labrador, and Marley, our 5-year-old adopted female Singapore Special (fancy name for Singaporean street dog). Both are happy and healthy fur kids, as are all their playmates who visit for play dates!
